Colin Slay

Project Director

Colin has 24 years of experience in juvenile justice and systems reform. As a life-long resident of Clayton County, Colin began his career at Clayton County Juvenile Court as an intern, holding several positions ranging from intake officer, juvenile probation officer, juvenile detention alternatives coordinator, to ultimately ending his tenure at the court as court administrator. He currently serves in court administration for Clayton County Juvenile Court.

 

Colin is a member of the Annie E. Casey Foundation’s Applied Leadership Network, a fellowship dedicated to accelerating juvenile justice reform, and has served on several boards and advisory committees at the local and state levels, including the Juvenile Justice Advisory Group for the Georgia Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and United Way for Greater Atlanta. Colin has extensive experience in developing community collaborations, juvenile justice reform, and trauma-informed responses within juvenile justice systems. Colin currently serves as an officer on the Executive Board of the Georgia Council of Court Administrators.
